Comm Fellow 2020-2023
Blainey Lab, BE, Broad
Anna is a graduate student in the Blainey lab, where she studies how neurons form synapses using CRISPR screening, high-content imaging, and in situ sequencing technologies. Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, she graduated from the University of Chicago in 2017 with a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry, before moving to the much warmer Boston area.
Anna is passionate about helping others concisely communicate their work to a diverse audience, which is integral to any successful scientific career. She is particularly interested in figure design and graphical representation as a means of effective communication. Outside of the lab, Anna loves painting, learning how to use her DSLR camera, and trying out new recipes.
