Comm Fellow 2014-2017
Georgia Lagoudas was a Communication Fellow from 2014 to 2017 in the MIT Biological Engineering Department. She completed her Ph.D. in 2018 working at the intersection of microfluidics, genomics, and the microbiome. While at MIT, Georgia co-founded a conflict management student group, was an officer with the MIT Science Policy Initiative, and was involved in the MIT Rowing Club and Cycling Club. After her Ph.D., Georgia worked as a scientist at the DSM Innovation Center.
Currently, Georgia is a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Congressional Fellow, where she will be working with a member of Congress in Washington, D.C. for one year. Georgia enjoys many outdoor sports and has run 12 marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
