Postdoctoral Fellow
Kroll Lab
Tori is a Postdoctoral Researcher, based in the Kroll Lab. Tori holds a PhD is in physical chemistry, and her graduate work focused on laser spectroscopy of atmospherically-relevant molecules and their reactions. Since coming to MIT, Tori has turned her work in a more applied direction, studying the evolution of organic molecules in the atmosphere, and their impacts on climate and air quality. Tori’s own work bridges multiple fields (chemistry, physics, environmental engineering, chemical engineering), and she has worked to develop strategies for adapting her work for different scientific communities. Tori joined the Communication Lab to help her peers develop their own communication styles, and to hone her own skills at giving feedback. Outside of work, Tori enjoys baking, playing board games, and spending time with her rescue dog, Winston.
